We take an integrated systems approach in conducting needs analysis of information, resources, incentives, and skills training for organizational performance improvement. Darlene D Collins, CPT, PhD is President and principal consultant of Allied Performance Consulting and is a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT). She is currently a certified business skills instructor at UNM and CNM as well as a mentor for the Sandia National Labs Small Business Program. She held an Adjunct Instructor position at ITT Technical Institute and worked at Intel Corp, NM for 5 years. She spent 11 years as a USAF Air Force training officer and logistics officer, 6 years as the general manager of a local light manufacturing firm, and is an entrepreneurial owner of a management consulting firm. She has over 10 years experience in a variety of instructional design, training program manager, and change management positions. She received her B.S. in Education from Indiana University and her M.A. in Management from Webster University in Missouri. She completed her PhD in Education focused performance improvement in business from Capella University in Minnesota. She is author of The Real Illusion of Fear. She enjoys making learning fun, being of service, writing poetry, and long walks. Darlene is a competitive member of the local power lifting team and holds four state and world records.
